Meet Merrie

I joined the Swad Wealth Management team with over twenty years of experience in education, including teaching, program coordinating a U.S. Department of Education grant program, and school administration. Most recently, I served as Principal at Forestville School & Academy and Corona Creek Elementary School.

What draws me to this work is the opportunity to be a resource for clients, someone they can turn to for guidance and support as they work toward their life goals. My background has given me a broad perspective, which I find useful in understanding what people hold uniquely dear and the positive impact financial guidance can have in helping them attain the life they want.

My years in education sharpened my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and to build relationships grounded in service and trust. I care about the people I work with and find meaning in helping others. As a Client Service Associate, I bring that same dedication to every client I work with. I am currently pursuing my CFP® certification to build the technical expertise to match that commitment.

I grew up in Sonoma County and outside the office I enjoy live music, hiking, making pottery, and spending time with my family.
